Sanjay signed off the season in a grand fashion. The concert falling on Aaradhana day had Sanjay paying a rich tribute to some grand-stand Thyagaraj krithis. The Bhairvai was simply oustanding, grand and had everything one could ask for. His imagination was on full throttle and very much evident in the kalpanaswarams. It was a Bhairavi to remember for a long time to come. The Devamanohari alapana was delightful.
There were some light moment too. As Sanjay sang a delightful alapana of Mand, a section of the audience started their applause which was very instantaneous. At this time NAGAI was about to start his reply on the violion, stopped and the applause also stopped anticipating NAGAI to play. But NAGAI himself prodded the audience to go ahead and then gave his reply. The team work b/w THE MASTER and NAGAI was something to be seen and enjoyed.
Thanks to THE MASTER, NAGAI and team to have provided a grand stand concert.

sridrect,
Even when it doesn't happen to be a tyAgarAja ArAdhanA day, I have heard Sanjay sing several T's krutis in a single concert. You can scroll back and find those concerts in this section.
Wish I had been there. Would have helped this yet-to evolve bhairaviphile.
By the way, masters needn't be labeled as such. All those who show mastery are masters, and there are quite a few of them around!

Don't we always refer to Rajini as SUPERSTAR!!! Similarly I am used to refering to SANJAY as MASTER. I do hope you have your own list of MASTERs!!!arasi wrote:sridrect,

It will be correct to call Sanjay the Prakashraj of CM than Rajinikant.
The reference to Rajinikanth was more from using the term SUPERSTAR!!! Sanjay is beyond any such comparisons.
