It was a wonderful experience on many counts----
Felt very nice to sing the 5ratnas is sama sruti without the acrobatics of upper octave and lower!
Felt very nice also to connect with so many friends.... Don't get to meet so often! This happens in other aradhana dos too but meeting all 'girl' friends has its own charm! Rajam Mami and Jayamangala held the percussion end superbly. Also Rajana.
Also was very heartening to see so many people gathered to listen. many of them were singing along and added to the spirit of the day.
I think this is a very nice initiative by Mudhra and Radha added some interesting notes about the pancha ratnas and also the motivation to organise such a prog.... Not a feminist initiative! I saw some people clicking photographs. Hope some one will post a pic.
