Viruttam - behag? - I left at this time as it was already 9:30 pm.
I was about the leave when he started kalyani though decided to stay put only to get to listen to a new sriranjani song

Highlights - new song paravatharajakumari, new talent to watch out/attend (Mahadevan), a superb tani.
Violin played a perfect fiddle to the main and his kambhoji & sriranjani vinyasams were very good.
The way Raja Rao played for the kambhoji & varali songs was superb. Different patterns and superb nadam - not the chap chap rather then thom thom kind. It was loud a little though and drowned violin at times.
Mahadevan has a pleasant and good voice but seems to sing closed mouthed at times. Good thing is he sang mostly akara phrases in his alapana of sriranjani whereas most I have heard prefer thadari and ri.
