madi SEkara (notSekarA!-which may mean as if he's addressing Sivan. Here it is the nanda nandanan (darling son) of Sivan.

bOdamE purindu--a huge difference between bOdam and bOgam :)

Arasi I think it is madi SEkharAnanda (SEkhara+Ananda) nandanan

And I thought it was 'ayil (vEl) endiya mayil vAhanA' in the anupallavi. What does Arkum mean?

'kuyil mozhi vaLLik(ku) arul shaDAnanA'

RAvi,
You are right.
Why vAhanA again? It can't be the word. He has already addressed him as mayil vAhanA in the pallavi.

Thank you, Lakshman.

AP: Arti (tunbam) tIrkkum (one who destroys it with his ayil). Is he mA+ganA (the great one? ganam porundiya?)
C: tati is tattuvam. pAdamE gati and peTREn ittadi (I understand the tattuvam of seeking your lotus feet).

TirukkuDandai AND avan once said: the name Arati is getting popular these days. From mangalam, dropping that a and calling a child Arti isn't appropriate because it gives the name a negative meaning.

Hello everyone
I was searching for lyrics for this song and I was very happy to find this discussion. Could you please help me with these questions -

* in the Anupallavi, does the word "Ayil" mean Vel? So, Muruga is the one who carried the Vel and destroys difficulties?
* Is the word "theerkum" in the anupallavi correct?
