Is there a better way to go back to view unread message

Once a certain unread message is read, is there a better way to go back to unread message, as I at present go back to board index and then click on view unread message. Is this the way or am I doing something wrong?

VKR - as my default view I use the Active Topics link from the Board Indiex : http://www.rasikas.org/forums/search.php ... ive_topics

I have this as a favourite as it shows the latest topics with new comments.
