Songs and general content replicate her Music Academy concert! She sang dhArini and the sindhubhairavi thillAnA there too. 'jaya jaya' is a refreshing kriti from her. srI nArada, muruganin marupeyar and vandanamu are her super-hit pieces. The bhairavi rendition would have been excellent. BJ sang a song in yamunAkalyAni at MA, but that song is usually sung in some other raga(kalyAni,I guess). Similarly, she has presented 'AlOkayE rukmini' which is usually sung in surati. Another similarity is that the pallavi in MA was also from kamba rAmAyanam! What a special concert she has presented in Australia! It shows that she sings with the same style everywhere, irrespective of region, delivering high quality music everywhere and every time! Lucky are the people who attended this 3 hour+ concert! Now that is something to envy! Concerts in Chennai are usually 2 - 2 and a half hours long! But, a 3 hr concert! Superb!! =)

mohan, Thanks for the nice picture!
It's great to see she sang while playing the tambura herself. I have never been to a concert where this has happened. I am curious to know whether she did this even while doing the RTP, Swarams etc.
