I remember listening to a concert at this temple eons ago when we'd first moved to Madras from Surathkal...beautiful ambience, lousy acoustics. Has it improved?

I very much doubt whether any improvements were made to improve the hall acoustics. I have attended a couple of concerts a few years back and they were far from satisfactory from listening point of view. This hall is not ideal for concerts.

The accoustics weren't great, but I've come across worse
