We,at the DFW Hindu Temple along with Nadopasana,IFCM-USA and IFVA are happy to announce the celebration of Sri Purandara Dasa Aradhana to be held on the 27th of March,2010 at the DFW Hindu Temple Youth Center.
As a fitting tribute to the musician-saint and the Father of Carnatic Classical Music, we are calling for an encouraging platform for all artists (children and adults) to perform on this auspicious occasion.
This year we welcome two young and highly talented musicians Vid: Bhavana Viswanathan a disciple of Sri V. Subrahmaniam, and party and
Kum. Shreya Ashok,(Vocal) Kum.Madhu Kikkeri(Violin) and Sri Ganesh Devarajan (Mridangam) to perform on this occasion.

We also a have short Talk by the Guest of Honor for the Day, Mr.Jamie Allen, Director for Dallas Symphony Orchestra. He will be speaking about the venerable connections between two great musical systems of the world and on Sri Purandara Dasa,his contemporaries in the western hemisphere.
We invite you all to join us in our obeisance to this great Musician and participate in the commemorative celebration of Sri Purandara Dasa.
