Does anyone know the answers to these questions. I have my Grade 7 theory exam in Bharatanatyam next week but thses questions have come on a past paper. Thanks for your help

Yes it is.. 'kavATa-pAtanE' = opening and closing of doors/ windows

Thanks guys that was really helpful info . Actually Krishnaa, i know the names and hand gestures of the two hand gestures, but the thing that i'm not sure about is, what are the slokas[/b] for them. Are the slokas for them in tamil or something? Thanks

the slokas are in sanskrit. and there are two versions, one from nATya SAstra and one from abhinaya darpaNam.
