Was delighted to see rAmA nI samAnamevaru beginning (krti section of) the concert: although it was sketch-NS, it looked less like a (sub)main this way. The sketch, N & S were all good. Swarams in particular were very interesting. latAngi was developed reasonably interestingly in both AlApanai and swarams. yadukulakAmbhOji of Kum Amritha's was good. Dr Hemalatha's wasn't that delightful. A yadukulakAmbhOji without the RGRS is never satisfying! The krti was sung in very slow speed and made awesome listening experience. Both sAvEri AlApanais were well developed. Kum Amritha largely restricted herself to the tAra ga in sAvEri.

Tukkadas included the viruttam "Vizhikku Thunai" in ragas Behag, Sindhubhairavi and Kapi followed by "Poonguyil koovum". Amirtha concluded with a tiruppugazh in bagheshree.
