Photos in the album http://bit.ly/bkO5Pt are from the 2nd day (11 April 2010) of the Pallavita/VivRti program, organized by Latha Sriram of the San Francisco Bay Area, with wonderful concerts by youngsters and very informative LecDem/Q&A session by T.M. Krishna (program outline at http://bit.ly/bgQ2Gi). In the LecDem, Krishna discussed the styles and significant contributions of the major musicians from what he calls the Golden Era (1920s-1960s) of Carnatic music. Even though http://bit.ly/bkO5Pt is a Facebook album, it can be viewed by non-Facebook users also.
