Increasing the font size of the letters for easy reading.

Post by S.NAGESWARAN »

Respected Admin,

1. As a senior citizen, I am finding it difficult to read the letters in various threads

in our web site since the Font size is too small and unable to increase the Font

size via the "view tab".

In our previous web site, even though the Font size of the letters were small,

we were able to enlarge it for easy reading by selecting larger size from the
"view tab".

2. How to bring a bold green letters in the topic headings.

Kindly do the needful.

In your computer, there must be facility for zoom; you may probably see somewhere in the bottom right corner. It must be at 100% right now. Increase that to 150 or 200%. That will increase the size of the font.

At the bottom right corner there is a symbol of magnifying glass in many computers. If you click on the arrow next to it you can change the zoom level to 150 or 200 or more %. Alternatively you can go to the menu bar (File, Edit, View etc., line) and click on VIEW. Then click on zoom to choose the required magnification.

Dear Sir,

Press & hold 'Ctrl' and then press '+' to increase text zoom

Press & hold 'Ctrl' and then press '-' to decrease text zoom

Press & hold 'Ctrl' and then press '0' to reset text zoom to normal

Simple: Ctrl+ Ctrl- Ctrl0

Works in Firefox and Internet Exploder

Firefox even remembers the magnification setting for individual sites --- which I find really useful.

There's another way to control it. Hold the control key, and move the mouse wheel: instead of scrolling, it will increase or decrease the size.

This works , in Firefox, for everything on the page, not just the text. Images get bigger too. I find this useful for some of the cartoons that I see regularly.

http://www.rasikas.org/forums/faq.php?mode=bbcode - Please go here; it should walk you through. In fact it is very hard to find this as it is included in the portal. Just to make it easier on you. Here it is:

Yes, of course you can, for example to get someones attention you may write:

[size=200][color=red][b]LOOK AT ME![/b][/color][/size]

this would output LOOK AT ME!

We don’t recommend you output lots of text that looks like this though! Remember it is up to you, the poster, to ensure tags are closed correctly. For example the following is incorrect:

[b][u]This is wrong[/b][/u][quote][/quote]
