Prince Rama Varma was accompanied by:

This was a great concert with the dynamic duo accompanying the Prince. He entertained the rasikas with great humor and paid compliments to his team members. His explanation of the lyrics was very well received by the rasikas and he gets a A+++ for his communication skills. Varadarajan was great as always and it was sheer pleasure to listen to him. Satish Kumar gave great support and his thani was very enjoyable. He played swaras along with Varadarajan which reminded me of Zakir Hussein accompanying L.Shankar.
Prince chose Mayamalagowla for the main item (Meru Samana) and he said that this was for a change from the routine famous ragas. He sang quite a few thukkadas to satisfy requests from rasikas via email.
