Good effort. Such a translation exists for most kritis listed on Karnatik.com and the translation is also quite nicely done in most case. Please peruse these too.

My God, Are you related to the legendary Hercules? what a Herculean task you have undertaken? All the Gods mentioned in the kritis will bless you. once again GOD BLESS YOU..gobilalitha

Thanks a lot Ramya and congrats for this great effort. I am sure more youngsters will start enjoying carnatic music once they know the meaning of the songs. Keep it up !

Re: English translations of Carnatic music Krithis
I have been uploading some clips with translations (Dikshitar and Tyagaraja so far) with the aid of Sri TKG's excellent books, karnatik.com:
Dikshitar Kritis - Lyrics and Translation
Thyagaraja Kritis - Lyrics and Translation
While I found the exercise of putting together the translations personally very edifying, these clips are by far the least viewed compared to the others on the channel...
Some of the available translations sometimes need further translating or interpretation IMHO, so more sources are certainly welcome. Best wishes!

I appreciate your efforts Ramya. But translations are available. The only thing whihc is urgently required is notated version of Tamil songs in English. If you can do this it will be helpful for children without Knowledge of reading/writing Tamil.
