DVD release of 108 mrudangam ensemble

The DVD of the live “108 mrudangam ensemble” held recently at Mysore will be released by Mudhra Music in a function on 27th June at Mylapore Fine Arts Club, Chennai. This first of its kind event led by Thiruvarur Bakthavatsalam had mrudangists from all over India participating in it. Rajkumar Bharathi was the composer and music conductor for the programme. The DVD release function will be preceded by a rare combination concert of T.N.Krishnan and Viji Natarajan on the violin and T.V.Gopalakrishanan on the mridangam at 4.25p.m. For details contact Mudhra Bhaskar – 98400 72821.

Shriram an young boy recited veena excellently in veenothsavam,with very nice imagination in simhendramadhyamam, i could see nobody in South India like you including sabhas in Kerala.
