I identify the arohana - avarohana as : S G1 M1 P N1 S and avarohana as: S N1 P M1 G1 R2 S
Its close to suddha dhanyasi except for the R2 in avarohana.
its close to pushpalathika except for the lack of R2 in the arohana.
Thanks
Harish

it is agnikopam in carnatic. cine music has lot of songs with this a/a. and sometimes there is a touch of 'ri' only in arohanam also.

Since G1 = R2 and N1 = D2, your aro/avaro translate to
SR2M1PD2S'
S'D2PM1R2S
This is suddha saveri in CM janya of mela 29 which is better known as Durga in HM.
Actually the song more sounds like Durga which is a very delightful raga...

On first hearing sounds like the old Sivaji ganeshan's song - Vandha naal mudhal indha naal varai
