Hi,
I am a new member. It is nice to know that the beautiful world of carnatic music has so many followers from all over the world. Carnatic music is one thing which keeps a person alive if you ask me....
If you do not listen to good music at least for an hour a day, then that day is not lived....I am sure many of us share this view. I am privileged to be a part of this group.
I have one request... can anybody help me with a collection of the 'swara raga sudha' programme of Dr. M Balamuralikrishna, that was aired in Doordarshan a couple of decades ago? I did have an audio recording in cassettes but unfortunately over time they have been damaged... Can anyone help?
Thanks.

There was a National program on TV by Dr. Balachander may be 1980 or early '81, in which he played only 2 pieces. The main piece was an RTP in the raga Hamsanandi. It goes like this 'Shankari Shankuru Chandramukhi Akilandeshwari'. I still remember it because it was so enchanting and mind blowing. Can someone pl. try to find that video?

Hi Friends,
Good morning and thanks to all those who replied. Laks 1972, yes...I know it is a huge collection and size is a constraint. But is it possible for you to split the files using a software like HJSPLIT and upload in one of the free hosting sites? That would be a great help.
And Manjunathji, thanks for giving the information on sangeethamshare...I will check it out.
