Chamber Vocal Concert by S.Sampat on 5th August

Dear Rasikas,

I would like to invite you all for a chamber concert at my residence.

The concert will be performed by Sri S.Sampat (Deciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi T.N Seshagopalan)

S.Sampat, a Chartered Accountant by Profession, is an avid rasika of carnatic music from the age of six. He had his music lessons from Sri Coimbatore T.D. Venkataraman, Madurai Sri. Srinivasa Iyengar, a disciple of Sri Ariyakudi. Further, he learnt from Padmavibhusan Sangitha Kalanidhi Madurai Sri T.N.Seshagopalan, one of the greatest musicians of all time and few krithis from Sri HMV Raghu Sir. Sampat is blessed to have learnt few songs from the great vidwan Sethalapathi Sri Balasubramaniam, his most favourite musician. He started giving concerts from the age of 12 along with his sister. He is also adept in Western Classical Music and teaching western classical music on Piano, Keyboard, Guitar. He has also composed quite a few compositions in rare and challenging ragas like Niroshtha etc.

He is accompanied by A.G Venkatasubramanain (Disciple of M.S Anantharaman) on the Violin and
B. Ganapatiraman (Disciple of Kumbakonam Rajappaiyar) on the Mridangam
