6. Sudha Bhupala Thillana – Adi – Lyrics composed & added by Sri M. Balamuralikrtishna to the original swati tirunal composition,)
Started with Navaraga Malika Varnam which brought out the beauty in each raga. Melukoo started with a surprise twist in Madhyama Sruthi and was really beautiful to listen to. The choise of main song in the raga Subha Pantuvarali was unusual. The Alapana started by Sri Sesha Chary with G R S N..... reminded me of the Great Mali style and the entire beauty of the Raga was explored and was demonstrated skilfully. He lingered on the Anumandhra Shadjam which was in crystal clear alignment with the Sruthi and it was a wonderful experience. The Krithi Ennallu Urake was sung with great sahithya bhava and they sang a short swara kalpana. The Thillana was enthusiastically received by the audience. It was a short concert but was very fulfilling.
Sriram Parashuram’s Shubha Pantuvarali Alapana was very good. KV Prasad’s & TV Vasan’s thani avarthanam was excellent.

Re: SVANUBHAVA Hyderabad Brothers Concert
m_gopala, that was a great review and thanks for the writeup. I missed this concert. Glad you were able to attend both Tirupathi and Chennai concerts. If you happen to attend Krishna gana Sabha next weekend, please write about that concert as well. Once again thank you.
