You could perhaps tell us if you are an artiste too--in a quiet corner of the loungue, perhaps!
Meanwhile, the Akkarai sisters concert would have appealed to the Bhairavi audience.
I have heard Subhalakshmi many times as an accompanist--the best when she accompanies her guru Ravi Kiran. Swarnalatha is catching up I think. Give her a few more years.

All the four in our family are painters. My wife (ex-Tax Consultant) does watercolour paintings; son and DIL (both Architects) do acrylics; and myself (ex-Investment Banker) oils.

Kutcheri of Akkarai sisters:-
We had more than the expected crowd, and they were not disappointed.
Akkarai Subbulakshmi is familiar to Bhairavi rasikas. She was good ..., and luckily she could get the much needed support from Poongulam Subramanyam in Mridangam. Akkarai Sornalatha was confident and could command the encouragement of the rasikas! (She is doing her M.A.-music in Madras University.)
