On a day when Ranjani-Gayatri were giving a concert in a nearby city, a large gathering which attended the concert by the youngsters who were born and brought up in US thoroughly enjoyed a high-energy concert. There was splendid display of layam knowledge while at the same time krithis were bhava-laden. Manodharma was overflowing particularly in the neraval for Saveri piece and the kharaharapriya alapanai.

Just rename with a proper title like Kamya & Keerthana Sankar @viriginia , that way the title gets indexed by search engine. May be you can add the winning team title in the body of the text. I just heard their hindOlam , very well done , they have a very presentable voice with lot of azhuttam . Also I can see lot of patterns of srimushnam style with the mridangist. I will soon download kpriya to get a better aural glimpse of that sishya of AK. Thanks a lot to you and artists who were willing to share.

Thanks, Rajesh. I have made the changes you suggested. The violinist is a 8th grader and he plays with a beautiful smile and returns all complex 'koraippus' in an effortless manner. I particularly enjoyed the way he reproduced some complex sangathis in the 'pakkala' rendition. The 'boy' will be performing as an accompaniment during the December season. Please do listen to one of the concerts where he is performing.

About a year back , we had few you tube postings in some thread of Kamalkiran Vinjumuri , I did listen his youtube links. Infact Last year if I recollect it right he played for the same sisters in vanimahal and also some other concert in rAgasudhA that bharath reviewed. I will indeed listen to him. I also hope he got that super speed of AK returns.
