Samudhra's 8th Anniversary

Samudhra (a magazine for fine arts) will celebrate its 8th anniversary on 14th November from 4.30p.m at Infosys Hall, Ramakrishna Mission School, T.Nagar. The programme commences with a Harikatha by Kumari Varsha Bhuvaneshawari (disciple of Tanjore Kamala Murthy) on the topic “Valli Thirumanam.” Noted lyricist Kavignar Vaali will be honoured with the “Gnana Samudhra” award. Mudhra’s Music Directory 2011 and the special issue of Samudhra will also be released on the occasion. The function will be followed by a light music show of songs written by Vaali, presented by Issai Mazhalai Ramji’s troupe.. All are welcome. For details – 28264493.
