Good to hear about this event. We are familiar with very few songs of the illustrious father's daughter. Charulata Mani is singing a whole concert of her compositions.
Would be nice if you can share with us a few songs.

Some of the songs to be presented are:
Narahari vesa - Surya, Rajarajeshwari - Madhyamavati, Aditiputrane - Begada, Ambikaibalane - Shanmukhapriya
I have only listened to the Begada composition so far and it is attractive.

Karthik - thanks in advance. I have heard a few of Smt. Rukmini's compositions (adpated for dance) - in some, I found the insertion of the ankita (SivakumAri/Sivakumari) more than a bit contrived....

I remember attending a full length concert by Smt. Raji Gopalakrishnan comprised entirely of Dr. Rukmani Ramani's compositions a couple of years back. The whole concert was of high quality and not once during the course of the entire concert did one feel any sense of triteness which sometimes surfaces in a such thematic concerts.

The concert was cancelled as Narada Gana Sabha remained closed on Sunday on account of the cyclone warning.
