Kssr: Do you know the organizers ? If so - can you relay a msg saying that the acoustics was horrible. The hall acoustics was very poor - and the mridangam was too loud and sanjay's voice was drowned out. If possible - the concerts should be held at another venue even if it is smaller. It was very difficult to focus on the concert with such acoustics. Maybe they should get some sound engineers to fix the hall acoustics.

I attended Sri R K Srikantan's concert today.
To say that the acoustics were hopeless would be an understatement. Thoroughly ruined the concert. Stayed only out of respect for RKS and Umayalpuram Shivaraman sir.

Ditto - during sanjay's concert. One of the reasons I skipped the rest of the festival was due to the poor acoustics. I applaud the organizers in getting c. music to this part of bangalore - but they *should* take the acoustics into account as this is central in having a successful festival. So organizers - please don't take this as a rant - but PLEASE solve this. Your festival is awesome in the kind of musicians you get - please don't ruin it with poor hall/acoustics.squims wrote:I attended Sri R K Srikantan's concert today.
