Smt. Parasala Ponnammal at Hyd Kalasagaram

Today was the long-awaited concert by of Smt. Parasala Ponnammal avargal,at Hyd(secunderabad). The sabha, Kalasagaram honored her with the title of “ Kalasagara”. They also felicitated mridangist MLN Raju garu with the title Kalasagara”. This award function took away almost 40-45 min, and finally by the time the concert began it was almost 7.55 PM. She sang till 10 PM.

It was pretty late in the night, when I posted.. just wanted to put the songs list atleast... ,
now i have edited the post, pl. read it again..
#7 was a khaNDacApu composition...

I must also add that the accompanying artistes did a good job... About which she was so appreciative... .. she even asked the percussionists to play tani after #4, saying whether there will be time after the next one, ( it was 9'O clock already; she knew perhaps, that the audience will dwindle soon... ..), the next one being the swarajati...
