Boy, 15th came and went and not a beep from the Thimmas or Rasika varieties that attended the Chennai party!

I attended our srkris-pavithra reception party. We both have not seen each other.When I went at 10 PM(sorry SRKRIS I had a long call and a 1 and half hour commute), srkris , pavithra and a bunch of close relatives were just getting out. But I just caught him on time and wished him, if I could say just at nee nAma rupamulaku nithya subha mangalam.

I knew you were keen on going but thought that work held you up. Very happy to know that several others did attend. Hope they share their news on the forum.

Did you take any pictures? And the 'janitor' who came from afar?

I was there but could not spend time as had to leave in urgency. I wished srkrish (meeting him for first time) & left immediately. Could not stay for the concert. Hope to catch up with one and all on the 19th morning.

Attended the marriage reception of Sri Ramakrishnan, our Administer and extended my greetings and best wishes for a very happy married life.

I was a bit disappointed that not many Chennai Rasikas attended the reception.

Met only Sri Govindanji, Bharath, Nick and his wife in the reception.

One important Rasika was also available.

I think that 'Thimma, unlike myself, has a lot more to do than just flit between internet and concert hall, while wife makes tea and tries to make sure he eats something! :$

So we cannot expect to see him here every day.

Nick . I hardly attend concerts , these days . Though I spend a lot of time on the net ,while working in the background.

I know, or I guessed as much. It is rarely that we see each other except at Rasika's concerts. As I said, you have other demands on your time, which, as truly retired, I do not.

Only this bug is making demands on my time this December: I am about to send my wife off to a dance performance by herself. I'll be there tomorrow, though, even if I have to crawl and collapse in a corner whe I get there!
