Vidushi Neela Ramgopal - Vocal
Smt. Brinda - Vocal support
Shri Pakkala Ramadas - Violin
Shri Nanjil Arul - Mridangam
Smt. Sukanya Ramgopal - Ghatam

here is the song list

1. entO prematO - bahudAri varnam - LGJ
2. candram bhaja - asAverI - MD
3. O rAjeevAksha - ArabhI - T
4. vElum mayilumE - sucaritrA - kOteeswara Iyer
5. gatI nIyanI - tOdi - T
6. RTP in simhendramadhyamam - pallavi - jagannAtha sahitE nAtha sahitE sahitE hitE tE namastE in two thalams

tisra jhampa misra nadai - 42 aksharas
tisra triputa tisra nadai - 21 aksharas

7. purandara dasa composition
8. sindhubhairavi tillAnA - LGJ

The tOdi was priceless and so was the intricate RTP. The kalpanaswarams for the tOdi and the RTP were a class by themselves. All in all a very deep concert. Neela mami delivered an azhutthamana concert. Mami switched beautifully between the two thalams in the RTP - she even switched the thalams when Shri Ramadas was playing but he continued playin in the jhampa talam. I am sure experts can comment on this.

SK's T. K. Govinda Rao and M. Chandrasekharan were also in attendance.

Solidly enjoyable concert.

A beautiful pallavi - that is a gOpuccha yati, right? Sappri was this one of the dvi-tALa pallavi's with the artist using one hand for one tALa and the other for the second - or with the tALas sequentially?

Thanks for list and review!

What do hitE and tE mean?

hitE - she who creates 'good'
tE - 'to her' - in this context - tE namstE = I salute/bow down to her....

Thanks rshankar for the meaning.

Thats a lovely line - like a Dikshithar pallavi line.

If I may, I think the pallavi means, "She who accompanies (sahitE) vishNu (jagannAtha), who is forever united (sahitE) with her Lord (nAtha), who is always with/surrounded by (sa) all that is good and auspicious (hitE), who creates good/asupiciousness (hitE), I offer salutations (namastE) to her (tE)!" Ramaswamy, you are correct - it is very dIshitar-esque...

I think 'te-(it should be 'tE')' means 'to you'; ie. it is in second person and not third person.
The words like 'Jagnnaatha sahitE, nAta sahitE' etc. end in 'sambhodhanam'-addressing the Goddess
The meaning, therefore, is 'Oh Goddess, my salutations to you'..

The tAlas were sequential. Jhampa, Triputa and back to Jhampa.
