Sir,
the word*trSNI* is to be read as *vrSNI*[ in the second line of A.P.]
the word*rakSOharaNa* is to be read as *rAkshasaharaNa [in the 1st line ]
after the muktAyi swara]]

Why is the varNam truncated, with no c.svara sAhitya? Is this really a padavarNam?

"rakSOharaNa" will work, as "rakshas" ( with a short "a") is a word in Sanskrit that refers to demonaic being. Just as "manas" becomes "manO" in some compound words, here to it is "rakShO-harana".

If this were in kannaDA or telugu, what I am about to say may be refuted, but since this is in tamizh, I can definitely state that this is in maNipravALam - a mixture of sanskrit and tamizh.

Another point - this varNam is incomplete - it lacks the caraNasvara sAhityam parts.

pallavi
sItA manOharanE shrI raghukulEshanE

Oh delighter (manOharanE) of sItA, the leader/master (ISanE) of the dynasty/clan (kula) founded by raghu[1]!

anupallavi
kEta nArI ahalyA shApa mOkSa kAraNA
vEda vEdAnta bhUSaNa vRSNI kulapatE

The one who caused (kAraNA) the sad/distressed (kEta) woman (nAri), ahalyA, to be liberated (mOksha) from the curse (SApa) that afflicted her[2]. Oh lord (patE) of the dynasty (kula) of yAdavas (vRSNi), who is adorned (bhUshaNa) by the sacred texts of the vEdas and vEdAnta.

muktAyi svarasAhityam
ghOra tATaka rakSOharaNa surajana munivara paricarita
cOra hariNa rUpa vESa mArIca samharaNa guNa nipuNa paricarita

The defeater (haraNa) of the frightful (ghOra) demoness (rakshas), tATaka, who is attended to/worshipped by (paricarita) the gods (surajana) and exemplary (vara) sages (muni). The one who killed (samharaNa) the thief (cOra) mArIca disguised (vEsha) in the form (rUpa) of a deer (hariNa), who is worshipped by (paricarita) by those who are very adroit (nipuNa) and and have an excellent character (guNa).

caraNam
dasharatha mAnasa ranjita kAraNA dashamukha nAshakanE

One who is the cause (kAraNa) for daSaratha's mind/heart to be charmed (ranjita), oh destroyer (nASakanE) of the ten (daSa) faced (mukha) rAvaNA!

FOOTNOTES
[1] raghu was an ancestor of rAma, and his dynasty of solar kings is also called raghukula/raghuvamsha
[2] An opportunity for a sancAri as revealed by the elaborate number of sangatis sung for this line of the anupallavi in this version

Mary - you're welcome! Please post the caraNasvaras and sAhityam too from the uttarAnga of this varNam - I would like to understand how they're structured..
By the way, who is the composer?
