Nice review, Gamakam.
I too am extremely cautious about jugalbandhis, but this one seems to have been an exception. I have heard Jaytirth by himself. He is just as brilliant and spontaneous as Abhishek.
On a similar note....Last week, I saw a wonderful narrative set to music by Jayanti Kumaresh (featuring Abhishek and Ananthakrishnan on mridangam). The story was called "Sri Ragam".
The star that day was a kannada singer named M.D. Pallavi, who is also an well-trained hindustani vocalist. She was outstanding. What a voice!
