The well being of Rasikas.org depends on the well being of Arasi, for she is its most prolific contributor, with an astounding 5% of all the posts on the forum. Get well soon.

Yes Arasi we phyysically need you back here!
You have exceeded the dose of concerts under the doctor's order.
Now take plenty of rest and try to digest that surfeit!
It is a brand new year and you have to get hale and hearty for the 2011 December Season and of course for the second Rasikas' meet!

BilahariArasi: What about a poor soul like me who was snowed in for 3 days(with 30" of snow in NYC) with nothing to "withdraw" from(like Bilahari). Vicariously enjoyed all the Sabha-crossing,concert-juggling maneouvres!!
Re; Rasikas future I would say it has never been more promising--especially since July 2009(that was the time this modern-day Rip-Van-Winkle woke upto this forum!!!).
Agree that Srikris the newly wed should be relieved of the financial burden of maintaining this site.Count me in as one of the volunteers.

Re: Rasikas.org - 2011 and beyond
Nice to see rasikas suggesting that srkris be relieved of the financial burden of running the site, but I will tell srkris, "Tread with caution".
Once someone makes a pecuniary contribution they may feel, perhaps not wrongly, that having made it, they too should have a say in the governance of the forum, and be made a stakeholder in all minor and major administrative decisions that may have a bearing on the long-term its well being. And if such a person's point of view is at conflict with srkris's and he has to make a decision that overrules or ignores the former, he'd be faced with the dilemma of having to please the contributor against his wish, or risk losing their friendship. A few such incidents may be enough to make srkris frustrated, and may dampen his will to continue as the administrator.
Of course, the problem becomes much worse if there are many persons who have made significant contributions.
I have no idea how much srkris spends to keep the site running, but if it is not too much of a burden on his purse, I'd say the best course for him is to remain solely responsible for its financing.

Discussion is going on on the premise that there is a financial burden!

PB, thanks, I was not sure how to state it but you did it. In the past, when we offered to help out financially, Admin said finance is not a problem at all and nothing needs to be done about that. srkris, we are counting on you to let us know if that changes, this way we do not pester you about this every once in a while.

Like Arasi, I am going to say "It's no big deal". I will of course let you all know if and when the website runs the risk of closing down due to financial constraints.
At the moment, that situation seems impossible.

Happy of the message from srkris. This is what Shri Govindan has informed earlier..
But one clarification is required on Shri girish_a. I do not think anybody in this forum can be a challenge to srkris at any time even one pumps funds on a large scale and the caution elaborated is hurting. With the message from Admin , let the matter be allowed to die.
