That's a great photo of him. He will not be phased in keeping tala, even in a complex palavi. He is very knowledgeable.

r-t likes to catch the typos. That's a hobby of mine too, even though I make plenty myself. They add an extra dimension and new meaning to writing.

The point is that Akira is really very knowledgeable about CM. Laya and calculation is just one thing that he is good at: way ahead of me.

I have seen Akira in many sabhas but haven't noticed him keep tALam!

He gave me a full analysis of one of these non-text-book talams we had just witnessed in a concert.
