Our maid and helper have done a wonderful Pongal kolam outside our gate.

It is very touching, as it is entirely voluntary that they do this for every major festival.

TTD channel was telecasting the live event at Sabarimalai this morning US time, but everything was fine. Something must have happened later I guess. Hope the stampede victims are recovering and hope it was not too serious.

From what I hear from another source, this report from The Hindu may be only an early indication of the numbers killed or injured
