Sandeep N. Bharadwaj is a child prodigy at the violin. At age 12, he set a world record by performing concerts at the prestigious Chennai Music Season and released an album. Sandeep was accompanied by leading mrudangam artist Shrimushnam Raja Rao. Sandeep has gained recognition from senior artists and organizers both in India and the United States. Sandeep has been trained in Singing Carnatic Music by a leading musician Smt. Suguna Varadachari. Sandeep will be accompanied by Dr. Ram Sriram on Mridangam (barrel shaped South Indian drum), and Karthik Venkatraman on Kanjira (South Indian frame drum or tambourine).

Sandeep is listed in the full program schedule but it does not say that he plays the violin! Since there is plenty of time, you can ask the organizers to add that information, and say Master.Sandeep perhaps, so that children and their parents might get interested in listening to him too...

Why is this bumped up again?
Not a child prodigy. Sorry. I saw Mandolin Srinivas play for 3 hours when he was 13 with a full pallavi, leaving a room full of hundreds of music lovers in awe. That was a child prodigy.
