OVK imagines himself to be a gOpI and imagines his vision of kriSNa playing the flute in the forest. In the pallavI, the gOpI asks her friend, when kriSNa has captivated our hearts, minds and our very souls with the music from his flute, what more could I need? What more can I want?
In the AP, the gOpI describes the sylvan settings: the peacocks are dancing gracefully, and creepers sway in the gentle breeze.
In the madhyamakAla passage, OVK describes how the 4-legged creatures are captivated by the music and come running to him and surround him, even as the ever smiling, ever-happy Lord plays melodious and soothing music.
