A Spiritual Interlude: Unique Illustration of Gitopanishad
For rasikas of our forum who are spiritually inclined , I am herewith posting a link in which I have uploaded a rare and unique illustration of Gitopanishad by the renowned scholar Mahomahopadyaya Ananthakrishnasastry drawn in 1948 (with Kanchi Paramacharya`s blessings) , which I have redrawn for the benefit of all interested and posted along with introduction in the net for the benefit of those who would also like to download the same for printing to the desired size. . Sri VK Raman, Yes, it is one page only. The important point is the picture illustration which is unique and rare and which to my knowledge is not available anywhere. Also the original portrait has become fragile and so the picture been redrawn to a bigger size of 23in by 18in ,then scanned and uploaded to the net so that it will reach all those interested who can down load and print to any size desired. The textual introduction and subject matter is more to highlight the uniqueness of the illustration in conveying the spiritual essence of Gitopanishad.

Sri Venkatakailasam, The original drawing has M.M.Ananthakrishnasastry`s name on it and I was also informed by my elders that the painting/drawing was done by him. The redrawing is an exact replica of the original including the reference numbers -locations, marked on the slokas in the picture.
