Lji - seems to me the Pallavai shd have "pankEruhAsAm" and " bhAvitAm" since the epithets for Sarasvati must be all feminine.

Sorry for not being clear. No, I meant both these words should have a long "A" as the last vowel.

After Rajani's suggestions, I heard this song many times over, with the Lyrics given by Shri Laksman by the side.
And Dr BMK's voice is very clear.
The Lyrics, as I could clearly listen to his mp3 file, is as follows, with some highlightings - just to mark the small points :
P: praNamAmyaham shrI pankEruhAsanAm panchAnanAdi sarvadEva bhAvitAm
A: praNavArttha pradarshanIm praNatArtti prashamanIm
para sukha dAyinIm vara kavinuta charaNAm vAgadIshvarIm
C: virinchi vanitAm vimalAm muraLIgAna-muditAm vara kacchappirava
niratAm pustaka sukha sarasijAkSa mAlAdi dhrtAm satatam
a) After clearly listening to the composer himself singing in clear voice, the one "correction" is : pankEruhAsanAm instead of pankEruhAsam, or even "pankEruhAsAm" as Rajani says.
b) I have forgotten Sanskrit Grammar now ; but I believe that the Capital "A" as in "bhavitAm", vanitAm vimalAm etc all project the feminine nature in Sanskrit here.
So too, the Capital "I" as in "pradarshanIm", "vAgadIshvarIm".
c) I prefer to read it as "ch" instead of just "c" - this is just my style, for easier association / pronounciation. Some others may not agree to this, but no arguments pl.
So, c to ch is really not a correction in that sense.

Re: pranamamyaham shri pankeruhAsanAm Lyrics pl – by BMK ?
S_P: Here is my attempt:
praNamAmyaham - I prostrate to
shrI pankEruhAsanAm - the one seated on a lotus
pancAnanAdi sarvadEva bhAvitam - the one meditated upon by Shiva(the five-faced) and all other gods
praNavArttha pradarshanIm - (She who) expounds the meaning of the Pranava (OM),
praNatArtti prashamanIm - who destroys the distress if those who bow to her,
para sukha dAyinIm - the giver of divine bliss,
vara kavinuta caraNAm - whose feet are praised by great poets,
vAgadIshvarIm - the goddess of speech
virinci vanitAm - (She who is) the wife of Brahma,
vimalAm - the pure one
muraLIgAna-muditAm - who is pleased by the music of the flute,
vara kaccappirava niratAm - who is immersed in the sound of her veena named kacchapI,
pustaka sukha sarasijAkSa mAlAdi dhrtAm - who holds a book, a parakeet , a lotus and a rosary(aksha-maalaa) in her hands
Some minor corrections are "prashamanIm" and "shuka" in the AP and C respectively.

Rajani - lovely!
A couple of questions:
Shouldn't it be praNatArthi?
And in the caraNam, shouldn't it be 'pustaka Suka...' and not Sukha? As far as I can tell, there is no word 'Sukha' in sanskRt....

I knew the beautiful description of veena pustakadhArini would come alive with your translation, thanks, Rajani. There is something soothing in all her portrayals and learnt something new here, the name of her veena.

Thanks , Ravi and S-P.
Ravi - it is indeed "Suka" or "shuka", as I had mentioned in the last line of my post, but forgot to correct in the lyrics while translating. Thank you for pointing it out.
"Arti:" means sadness or distress. The phrase would be "praNata"+"Arti"+"prashamanIm"
