S V K. Birthday Series April2011

To Celebrate the Birthday of its Founder Sri S V Krishnan, Naada Inbam has arranged a series of programmes from 6th to 17th April. (Except 9th)

The Inaugural concert on 6th will be by Sangitakalanidhi Dr. N Ramani (Flute)

On 12th, which also happens to be Sri Rama Navami Day, Sangitakalanidhi R Vedavallii along with her Disciples would give a perceptive presentation of the Utsava Sampradaya Krithis of Thyagaraja highlighting the inherent musical and sahitya excellence.

On 16th , SVK’s Birthday, Nada Yogi Violin V V Subramanian will explore the esoteric values of Classical Carnatic Music through song and dance, He will be assisted by Subhiksha and Lakshmi Rangarajan (vocal), Pavithra Srinivasan (Dance) and Nellai D.Kannan (Mridangam).

The other participants in the series are Sumitra Vasudev(7th), Papanasam Ashok Ramani(8th), Gayathri Venkatraghavan (10th), Sowmya Sudharshan (11th), Bhairavi & Malavi (13th), Amrutha Venkatesh (14th), K.Jyotsna (15th), and Smt.Seetha Narayanan (17th).

The venue of Naada Inbam concerts is always Raga Sudha Hall in Luz, Mylapore.

There is a change in programme for tomorrow.

On April 16th 2011 at 6:30 pm at Raga Sudha Hall, Smt. Neela Ramgopal will present a vocal concert. Sri V L Kumar and Thanjavur Sri R Kumar will be her accompanists.

Th program by Sri VVS and the group is postponed to a later date.
