It is definitely a good initiative.. But why aren't some concerts part of the subscription plan like TNS, Shashank and the Tri-Shakti concert? I mean I would love to watch TNS concert

Some of the artists have not given authorization. For others, they are touring USA and live broadcast could possibly hurt the revenue of the other organizations.

When I checked with the Cleveland Aradhana web page, it clearly said that there would be no webcast of Sri Madurai T.N.Seshagopalan's programme. Surprisely it has been webcast yesterday, that too in the premium package.Was it a last minute addition? I think the authorities concerned need to explain about this.Anybody could contact the artist may also let us know why this was done. If we had known, may rasikas in India would have made use of this golden chance:-(

This is what happened: as we all knew, it was announced several times that the program will not be shown. Even an hour before the program it said so. Then came the news that the ArAdhanA had said okay to the streaming but they were waiting for the artiste to say yes. Stay tuned, they added--and then it happened. I'm sorry you missed it. I did not even bother to switch on when Shashank was playing, but 'just in case', I said to myself and there he was! I hope they all say 'yes' in the first place next year...

In the case of Shashank's programme, I believe Shahank persuaded his father to ensure that this programme is webcast. I guess that happened an hour or so before the programme started.

I got a call from Phalgun (my cousin) that this programme is coming and hence started viewing. Even though I didn't view it per say since I was in office, but my boys did watch/listen to it.

When I enquired with sources from the artists' side, I was told that Sri TNS never gave permission to do so!! and this was done without the knowledge of the artist. Anyways, a costly miss for genuine rasikas here:-(
