There is a pushpanjali in gowla, mishra chapu that begins...

tham tha jham, thakita jham, thari thaka jham jham...

with sahityam (from what I can make out):

pahimam uma sutham vigneshwaram
sakala veda shastra
natya kalaa nipunam
namaami satatam
pava paada pankajam

Can anyone provide the lyrics and/or notation? I do not know who the composer is. Thanks.

Umesh:
I have not heard of this one, but based on you sAhitya, here are some corrections:

pAhimAm umA sutam vighnESwaram
sakala vEda SAstra nATya kalA nipuNam
namAmi satatam tava pAda pankajam

Protect me (pAhi mAm) , Oh son of umA (umA sutam), the remover of obstacles (vighnESwara)! You are an expert (nipuNam) in all the vEdAs (sakala vEda) and SAstra, and arts (kalA). I bow (namAmi) to your lotus like feet (tava pAda pankajam) continually (satatam).

Thanks, Ravi.

I cannot find a reference to it online (in the dance reviews) or in my dance tapes/cds. If anyone has any info about the piece, please do share.

There seems to be something wrong with the sahityam.
If it starts as 'pAhimAm', then the following words like
umA sutam, vighneESwaram, etc. sound wrong.
It should be umAsuta, vighnESwara etc.
The 'm' should not be there at the end.
Otherwise it sounds as if Lord ganESa is asking some body to protect HIMSELF(who is the son of uma, who is the remover of obstacles etc).
Otherwise the first word 'pAhimam' should be changed to something like 'bhajEham'
The last line 'namAmi satatam tava padapankajam' is correct.
