The word 'Nimati" is to be read as,"Nimadi"
Now the meaning:
nImadi callagA…
With a cool mind, Shankari{consort of Lord
Shankara},why are you not protecting me?
[p]
You are the queen consort of
Somasekhara.Sudati,{lady with beautiful
teeth}my Mother{a.p}
You are Mother, Father, and Guru for me.
I have always treasured your lotus feet in my
heart and prayed without
fail.Omkari,SriTripura sundari{C}

Re: Lyrics & Meaning of Neemadi challaga
kuntalAmbA is a name that is used to describe pArvati...any idea why? I mean, other than specific deities like sugandhi-kuntalAmbA (she with the fragrant tresses), kusuma-kuntalAmbA (she with flower-adorned tresses), or bhramara-alakAmbikA (she with tresses like a cluster of bees), pAravti is refered to generically as vENI (sometimes SankarAbharana vENi), or kuzhali (remember the song, 'iSai tamizh nI tanda'....it goes on, 'pagai varumE pAnDiya nATTinilE, kuzhali maNavALanE unadu vITTinilE'), or, in this instance, kuntalAmbA.....

rshankar ji,
I did not include the word 'kuntalamba" in my post.
Thank you for the details.
In the kirtana"sampat prade Sri cAmunDEShvari"
the composer Sri Muttaiah Bhagavatar refers to
SrI cAmunDEShvari as,"Bhrnga kuntaLe"
and the famous "sarOja daLa nEtri" sung by
M.S.amma has the word"maDhukara vENi"
