Lyrics & Translation of "rAma nAma bhajese" sp?

This is track 4/9 on Sudha Raghunathan's CD "Ramabhakti Samrajyam"

The track is entitled mAtha rAmo [shloka] but it appears to be just the name of the shloka sung as a viruttam.

The actual song begins:

"rAma nAma bhajese...."

and appears to be a Hindustani composition of a Gopaala daasa.

Lyrics, Translation, and Language info much appreciated. I believe rAgam is listed as darbAri kAnaDa

p.s. would appreciate getting the shloka transliterated and translated too. Is it from Raamaayanam?

The song is by Gopaladasa - the mudra is in the last line of the song.

by the bondage of this world? The wife of kAma hara{Shiva}

purified.Surya"s son {karNa} got boons, Dhruva became a

Did not the elephant,prahlAda,draupadi,the blessed
viBhIShaNa, chant the name of hari and got filled up with

girijA {Shiva"s consort} came to be known as the ever

No one has yet made an attempt on the shloka sung at the beginning so I gave it a shot:

mAtha rAmo mat-pitha rAmachandraH
rAtha rAmo mat-saga rAghaveshakaH
sarva svame rAmachandra dayAdo rAmANyam jAne

I would appreciate corrections and a translation. Is this from the Raamaaynam?

This is what I can remember.
This ShlOka may be part of Aditya hrdaya
mAtA rAmO matpitA ramaBhadraha
BhrAtA rAmO matsakHA rAGhavEshaha
sarvasvamE rAmacandrO dayAlu
nAnyam daivam naiva jAnE najAne
rAmaBhadra is my mother,my father
my brother and my friend is,rAGhavESha
In everything the kind rAmacandra is present
I do not know any other God apart from him

It doesn't appear to be from Aditya Hridayam, unless the copy I have is incomplete.
I plugged in "mAtA rAmO" into Google Search and landed a hit from "rAma rakSha stotram." The lines match exactly with the exception of "rAmachandraH" being substituted for "ramabhadraH." Also, it may be her pronunciation, but I could swear Sudha is singing "rAmANyam jAne" at the end instead of "nAnyam daivam naiva jAnE najAne."

You are right.The ShlOkam is from rAma rakShA stOtram.

Both have similar meanings.'rAmAnyam [?] janE' and 'nAnyam daivam naiva jAnE najAnE' mean

*do not know any body other than rAma' and " do not know any other god"
