I have been unable to find the lyrics for this song. The one given in the swathi thirunal website is just the swaras. The female voices in this audio are singing some sahitya. Kindly help me and Thanks in advance for your time
(Swati tirunal composed this song as a jatiswaram. But later, sahityam was added by some scholar, seeing the beauty of the song, as in the case of the famous ‘rara venu gopa bala in bilahari’ )
The svarajati is actually composed by the Tanjavur Quartette. It is in the book The Tanjore Quartette on page 12. The lyrics were added later by Parameshvara Bhagavatar.
Thank you palloorkar ji . Lakshman ji.Actually I was collecting Swathi thirunal songs for a performance. Since this was in the swathi thirunal website I thought this was his composition. Are you sure it is not :S ?
The authorship of some songs is disputed. In the book"Tanjai Peruvudayan Perisai" by Sri
Ponnayya Pillai, the ata tala varnams 'sarasijanabha(kamboji) , chalamela(sankarabharanam),kanakangi nee chelimi(thodi) and vanajakshi ninne kori(kalyani) are said to be composed by the Tanjai Quatrette. But the first two are composed by Swati tirunal and the 3rd and 4th by Pallavi Gopala Iyer. In this particular swara jathi the last charanam clearly points out it is composed by Swati tirunal(Swati nRupa krutham).Palakkad Parameswara Bhagavathar was a contemparory of both swati tirunal and the Tanjavur brothers. If it was actually composed by the tanjai brothers, Parameswara bhagavathar would not have written it to be composed by the Maharaja.

Vid T S Padma has published a book titled RAGAMALIKEGALU in kannada, where this jatiswara comes has the first of the compositions.
SHe quotes Asthaana vidvaan PARAMESHWARA BHAGAVATAR had a copy of the sahitya. it may be his addition.
In addition, 2 more variations as notated by 2 more composers in their books.
