Gokulashtami celebration concerts in Bangalore

THANKS.As usual wonderful programmes. But transport after the evening programmes is really an ordeal ,unless you have your car. the place is desolate. Of late BANGALORE HAS BECOME A CRIME CITY . The hall and acoustics are very nice.

Excellent concert series. Some unusual combinations/features make it very special.

I noticed Sri UKS at one of Abhishek's performances during the December season and was wondering if he was going to accompany him at some point. Well, here he is on Aug 10th. This should be an explosive affair!

I heard a recording of Dr. Hemalatha accompanying TMK last year. She was brilliant. TMK seems to bring out the muse in her, somehow inspiring her more than the vocalists she accompanies routinely. This should be another excellent concert.

And then on Gokulashtami day, TMK singing bhajans? For a second I thought this was true . But then I realized that it was actually the same concert listed above, but punctuated and printed in a strange way on the right column.

Look forward to reports on all of these concerts from Bangalore rasikas.
