Chembai's brother Subramanian lived in Chembai throughout his life. His son, grandsons also stayed in the village. Now Subramanian's daughter-in-law and her son's family are living in Chembai. I don't know their numbers or e-mail addresses. However I'll give you the address. Chembai Music School, Chembai village (near Kottayi, Palakkad-678572, Kerala.
There they conduct classes for about 200 students every weekend. The Chembai memorial, his statue etc., are situated in their house. It is the first house as you enter Chembai village. Chembai is about 25 km from Palakkad. Travel on the Palakkad-Trisshur National Highway-47 and you have to turn to the right after about 15km. There are signboards announcing 'Chembai Memorial' on the highway as well as on the inside road. After you travel 10 km on the Kottayi road you come to a turning and on the left you can see this lifesize statue of Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar. I'll try to give you a phone number if possible.
Another relative of his, I think Subramaniam's other son or grandson lives in Chennai on Palace Road, Santhome, where Chembai lived for years.

Re: family of Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar?
I met his only daughter some years back, she passed away a few years ago. His nephew Chembai Srinivasan lives in the house that the Bhagavatar used to live. If I remember right, it is #5, Palace Road (also called Papanasam Sivan Road), Santhome (exit into Kutcheri Road from Luz corner, then left at bazaar road and then first right).
I got his phone number from the Chennai telephone directory back then since I didnt know them personally, but they were gracious hosts.
The great GNB was once Chembai's neighbour living in the same block.
Why do you want to meet them?
