I don't think the text is partial. It is the whole song.

There are the lyrics listed at that link. Corrections are welcome - it doesn't sound exactly like what the Priya Sisters sang. Also, at the very last line the original author mentioned it was too fast for him to catch. I also felt the same way - are we sure there is not more sung in the madhyama kAlam? Also, does anyone have a translation?

The CD said this was by Puliyur Doraiswamy Iyer. Was that an error or are these two (Puliyur Doraiswamy Iyer and M.Rangasami Pillai) the same person?

They are two different composers. I am not sure which one composed this song. I tried to get more information on this song but did not succeed.
