Sikkil Gurucharan spells magic everytime he goes on stage.Carrying the mantle of the illustrious Sikkil family, ably on his young shoulders, he gave the audience a memorable concert today.His confidence and poise are testimony to the respectable family that he comes from and the rich heritage that he has inherited.Being a young performer he has established his own bani and cultivated a niche audience for himself.Exuding youthful exuberance he gave a wonderful performance, which was classy as well as packed with the required tempo.Mysore Dr.Manjunath on the violin,Sri.Srimushnam Raja Rao on the mridangam and Sri.Giridhar Udupa on the ghatam formed the indomitable trio on stage who filled in with the melody, rhythm and played with immense understanding.It was a pleasure watching the seasoned senior Sri.Raja Rao encourage Sri Giridhar Udupa and together they played a power packed tani avartanam.Some one in the audience said that such tani avartanams are eagerly looked forward to by them, as it is thoroughly enjoyable.On the whole the concert was packed with all the ingredients to make it a memorable one.
