A fantastic concert by Malladi Bros. Noteworthy features of the concert - Swaras in the raaga Aarabhi was great. Ravikumar's elaboration of Kanthamani was enjoyable. They presented a not so popular kriti of Saint Tyagaraja.. Composition of Dikshitir in Dvijavanthi was rendered in great detail. Todi was elaborated in great detail [close to 15min] by Sreeramprasad.
Tani was lively and brisk.
Post thani compositions were all enjoyable. 15th Aug this yr being Guru Sri Raghavendra Swamy Aaradhana they sang a bhajan on Guru.Also being Independence Day they sang a composition [it was in Sanskrit] glorifying Independent India.
All post Thani compositions were enjoyed by the audience..
