i just heard this vidhushi's radio concert. she is too good. im told she is a disciple of Sattur Subramania Iyer.

any more info and /or recordings about this vidhushi invited

I think today she passed away as confirmed by one of my friends. Pity, we do not have more details about this lady.

Seethamani Sreenivasan was from one of the leading business families of Tamil Nadu ( Seshasayee group). Hence there was no need for her to push herself to the limelight. She sang for the love of music and was a good musicianl.She was a top graded AIR artiste. During her prime she lived in an era when BVR-BVL sang in the 2 pm slot and SK / MVS etc. sang in the 3.30 pm slots at MA and hence not much is heard about her today. Recordings of her AIR should be available at least with her family.

The concert relayed by FM Gold yesterday was much enjoyable. There is one LP Record of her released some time in 70s. It contains Padmanabha Suprabhatham, Bhogeendrasayinam and Pannagendrasayana. But not available in stores in the recent days.
