On the following link you can hear this song sung by Smt. Sudha Raghunathan, disciple of MLV,

Please also click and listen to the link below where this song is sung by Sri. Sreyas Narayanan, [accompanied on Mridangam by Tiruvarur Sri. Bhaktavatsalam]. He had sung well this song and is worth listening.

This rendition by SREYAS NARAYANUN is simply exquisite. Could it have been sung a bit slower ? - I'm no expert just a simple query.

I recently discovered this artist on the net and am fast becoming his fan -very melodious singing.

smala, I fully endorse your views. This may be for the reason, according to me, that the Keertans in the raga Rasikapriya (72 nd mEla) may shine better, when rendered with bit speed than in a slow tempo [choukka kalam]. Some ragas like Bhairavi, Maanji, Mukhari etc have to be rendered in chouka kalam (slow tempo) only due the characteristic bhava of those ragas. The tempo in rendition of a song in any particular raga is very much linked or integrated with the very Bhava of that raga also.
