Mohan santhanam’s command over sangeetham is great. Eloborate alapana in Raga Bangala could have been avoided as there is no scope to expand.
Good percussion support and tani was awesome. Violinist gave a soothing music to audiance.

Two of our forumites performing (if Mohan Santhanam is still a member). All are about GaneESa for the Chaturthi, I guess. TRS's varNam--is it about the elder marugan as well?
Erode Nagarajan (aravarasar) is known for lending very good support, subtly.
Interesting. Another concert with hamsadhvani at the end of the concert. Why not? It's a lively rAgam. An RTP I heard last season in that rAgam was a winner.
